We are blessed with some of the most beautiful countryside in the world, Bull Bay Anglesey, is the perfect destination if you want to combine breezy walks along beaches, challenging mountain climbs and the more traditional festivities that we associate with New Year’s Eve, which will hopefully include a trip to the local tavern in Bull Bay – The Trecastell, only an 8 minute walk from The Old Post Office, Bull Bay.
Take a New Year’s Dip or why not race along Anglesey beach on a space hopper - This event was organised to raise cash for Trearddur Bay lifeboat station 2019… It was a spectacular site. Hoping it happens again in 2020.
But don’t forget , you can awaken the senses on New Year’s day than a dip in the sea? You may not think so, but plenty of people do. So if you don’t mind the chill factor and have an adventurous state of mind, head to Abersoch , Lianberis , Beaumaris or Holyhead. It makes for a great spectator event too…..mulled wine in a flask is always a welcome addition!
