Everything from yoga to kite surfing. Yet what makes Anglesey truly special is that it doesn’t belong to just one season.

SUMMER: LONG DAYS, COASTAL ADVENTURES AND SEASIDE LIVING

Of course, Summer on Anglesey is extraordinary.

Bull Bay is in a quieter, more undiscovered part of Anglesey with dramatic views out over the coast. It’s a brilliant base for exploring hidden coves, scenic cliff paths and for beach days with the family.

You can easily cross the island within around 30 – 40 minutes, meaning the whole of Anglesey is easily accessible by car. That opens a world of activities in Summertime. Paddleboarding, sailing, fishing, sea swims, boat trips and sunset picnics.

Spend the morning walking rugged headlands. Have lunch overlooking the sea. Then finish the day back at The Old Post Office, Bull Bay, with salty hair, sandy shoes and a glass of something cold, taking in that ocean vista.

You’re certain to make memories that last with a picture-perfect traditional beach holiday, and this season is particularly popular for family breaks on Anglesey. Whether it’s water sports, beach time, or exploring some of the island’s exceptional coastline, this family-friendly holiday cottage in Anglesey provides a welcoming base. Our spacious dining area, with panoramic sea views, makes for happy mealtimes. And the cosy lounge with a feature fireplace is a perfect place for the family to relax and unwind at the end of the day.

But Summer is only the beginning.

SPRING SEASON: ANGLESEY’S BEST-KEPT SECRET

If you know the island well, you’ll know that spring can be a wonderful time to visit and enjoy one of our magical year-round holiday cottage breaks on Anglesey. The crowds are less than in the Summertime, and packed pubs and restaurants feel calmer and easier. The weather is milder, meaning an adventure along the many coastal routes is less tiring and more exhilarating. The perfect time for a walking break on Anglesey.

In Spring, find wildflowers peeping over the cliff edges and spot the island’s wildlife waking up and returning to the shores. The fresh sea air makes every walk feel brisk and invigorating.

And there is golf to play!  Yes, the quieter fairways and Spring sunshine make it perfect golf season. There are two courses nearby to enjoy on a Spring afternoon, making the cottage a great base for a golf break on Anglesey.

For the more hedonistic, the Gottwood festival is usually in June.
